What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique that uses a handheld tool to create hair-like strokes that enhance the appearance of eyebrows.
How long does microblading last?
Typically 12–24 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and aftercare.
Does microblading hurt?
Most people describe it as mild discomfort rather than pain. A topical numbing cream is usually applied before and during the procedure.
Who is a good candidate for microblading?
People with sparse, uneven, or overplucked eyebrows who want a fuller, more defined look. Different skin types can aso experience different retention levels.
Who should avoid microblading?
It is not be suitable for people who are pregnant, have certain skin conditions near the brows, are prone to keloid scarring, have uncontrolled diabetes, or are taking certain medications. You will be required to book a consultation prior to booking your microblading treatment, whereby a patch test will also be done.
How long does a microblading appointment take?
Usually 2–3 hours, including consultation, brow mapping, numbing, and the procedure.
How should I care for my eyebrows after my appointment?
Follow the aftercare provided at the end of your appointment, as it will be tailored to you personally i.e your skin type etc. All clients will be required to keep their brows clean and dry for 10 days following their treatment.
